the usual

Wow. It's June already?! I really never get on the internet anymore. I only posted three times in the entire month of May!!! How boring am I?

I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow night as soon as my little brother is done with his mandatory soccer practice. In the daytime, I'll probably go golfing, and at night... we will drive!

My family never takes vacations. I haven't been on a vacation with my entire family since at least.. oh... maybe seventh grade? My dad isn't a big vacationer. My mom, sister, and I all are chomping at the bit to get out of this place, and my dad is the one dragging his heels as he protests from the back. He doesn't know he does this... but don't worry... he's getting better.

This trip is going to be quite the experience already, I can tell. We don't have any cars big enough for all six of us plus stuff anymore, so I thought we were just going to rent something to drive like we usually do. Ha, Lauren. That's what you get for thinking. My dad borrowed my uncle's gigantic astro van for us to drive there. This is the van that we use to cart stuff around in when the family does the whole fair/carnie/food vendor stuff. It smells like egg rolls 90% of the time, and is big enough to haul the entire polynesian island of Tonga around in.

Good bye, rental car... hello egg roll van.

Secondly, we have no real plans. Angel island, pizza somewhere, chinatown... and then who knows?! We don't even know where we're going to sleep yet! (But i'm pretty sure that if all else fails, all six of us could easily all sleep in that van... shudder...)

It's just part of the adventure.

I met a general authority today. Elder Kevin Pearson came to talk to us in my home stake's conference this morning. He was so awesome! If any of you have a chance to ever listen to him speak... go!!! He was seriously amazing. I wonder if he has any sons...... just kidding. but really.

Ha.

I am ridiculous.

Also in the updates category...
1) it is my new goal to graduate before my 20th year of life is over. I'm pretty sure I can do it.
2) I also have decided that I love Logan in the summer. It's the way summer should be.
3) I don't think I'll go to grad school... but I temporarily contemplated it.
4) My summer GPA is going to be terrible!!! School in the summer is hard to focus on!!! This is why I'm not going to follow through with number 3.
5) Maybe I'll go get a job in Australia. Mmmmm... but I really am thinking about going somewhere fun to work after I graduate. Why not?
6) I can't marry a workaholic. I'd die without my travels.
7) I love being young.
8) I still want a fast car.
9) I have taken a sudden interest in Minnesota
10) I MISS MY BESTEST FRIENDS SAM, CAITIE, AND MEGAN!!!!!!! Logan is miserable without you. :( waaaaa

Welp. Time for a sunday afternoon nap. Yesss. And then for online classes. It better not rain tomorrow so that I can go to the driving range. I hope the weather gods heard that.
